Adaptation of traditional agricultural buildings ( or Barns) has been occuring all over the world for the last few decades. Artists were some of the first to recognize the potential for barns as a personal retreat. Once reserved for livestock and feed these structures have been transformed to spaces for domestic application.

In recent years Hundreds of barns have been renovated , relocated and re-erected with traditional techniques thanks to many builders , framers and those committed to preservation . Architects an builders are now paying homage to the traditional designs with a modern twist. Timeless qualities can be maintained with modern materials.
